Your surgeon is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery — FRACS (Plast): the highest specialist qualification in plastic surgery in Australia and New Zealand, earned through one of the longest and most rigorous training pathways in medicine and overseen by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.

They hold specialist registration in surgery (plastic surgery) with the Medical Board of Australia. Under Australian law, “surgeon” is a protected title — so “Specialist Plastic Surgeon” is a regulated statement of qualification, not marketing. You can confirm any practitioner’s registration yourself on the public register at ahpra.gov.au.

Our surgeons have completed dedicated training and certification in modern ultrasonic rib remodelling on top of their specialist fellowship, and plan every case on the patient’s own CT imaging.

Surgery is performed in accredited hospital and day-surgery facilities in Brisbane — licensed and audited to Australian standards, with full theatre capability and emergency support. Anaesthesia is delivered by specialist anaesthetists (FANZCA), with your assessment completed before the day of surgery.
